O track Patagonia plus Perito Merino Glacier and Cerro Torro hikes 14 days
Trek the full loop around the Cordillera del Paine of wild Patagonia, completing the less-travelled O circuit. On this route, you’ll enjoy a greater sense of adventure, as fewer trekkers follow this trail. Amazing scenery, walking and experience as we take in all the best bits of Patagonia

Day 1 Arrive Puerto Natales meet at our accommodation (TBA) for 3pm check-in

Day 2 Take the included 7am bus transfer to our first point in Torres del Paine national park then our first days hiking of 13km to Seron Camp

Day 2 A first hard days hiking with steep ascents total 19km but arriving into Dickson camp This long but unforgettable day will take you up and down the slopes of the Paine Massif. You will see amazing sights along the way, which will make your hike easier. Nature has a special way of rewarding your effort. Immediately following the steepest climb, when you look down into the valley, you might think that you are in a dream. Overnight Dickson

Day 3 With a shorter day of hiking ahead, 14km enjoy your stunning location. Wake up early and enjoy the tranquillity near the iver while contemplating the imposing mountains and the clouds that pass in and out of the snow-capped peaks. As you internalize everything, say goodbye to the serene landscape and the hanging glacier and prepare to enter a Lenga forest for the next stage of your journey. Overnight Los Perros

Day 4 At this part of your journey, you connect with the W Circuit, 11km today where you will explore the park’s most famous attractions. After a few intense days, today will be more relaxed. Walk along the mountainside and through forests of Antarctic beech (ñirre), coigües and notros. This short yet rewarding hike leaves a unique sensation from the diversity of natural elements that flood your senses. Overnight Grey Sector

Day 6 Start your morning right with a magnificent light hike toItaliano Camping. It gets harder as today is 20km and a hard day of up/down. Your mind and body will align with the present, processing all the experiences you have seen inthe days before. With mountains all around you, find peace in your soul as the sounds of the lake leave you buzzing with energy amidst a varied and abundant vegetation that will fill you with life. Total 20km today overnight Grand Sector

Day 7 Hike along the peaceful shores of Lake Nordenskjöld at the foot of the amazing Mount Almirante Nieto and its hanging glaciers. The hushed atmosphere of the massive peaks over the turquoise lake will urge you to slow down, process the magnitude and capture the view forever with a photo. The lake is surrounded by geographic contrasts and is home to many birds, so pay attention to the condors flying in this area. 14km today. Overnight Frances or Central Sector

Day 8 Hard days hiking 19km but so rewarding, The day begins with an uphill hike through the Patagonian pampa. The trail begins to steepen as you enter Ascencio Valley until you reach Los Vientos Pass, with its spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and lakes. Pass through the Chileno Sector and a native Lenga forest before reaching the final stretch of your adventure. This part of the hike lasts approximately one hour over rocky terrain. At the end of this trail you will marvel at the impressive view of the three iconic granite towers and their glacial lagoon. Return along the same route to take the bus in the afternoon and return to Puerto Natales, a unique, impressive and unforgettable experience.

Day 9 Departure day for El Calafete We take the bus to El Calafete (not included about aud$50) check in to our accommodation and explore the town (overnight El Calafete TBA)

Day 10 Take the local bus(not included about aud$45) to Perito Merino Glacier for a full day at this massive glacier, marvel at the up close views or take an optional glacier ice walk with a qualified guide return same day bus and overnight El Calafete

Day 11 We take a bus to El Chalten (not included aprox aud$50) for two amazing day hikes check in to our accommodation then wander the town overnight El Chalten

Day 12 Fabulous day hike to Fitzroy, its up, up and up to the amazing view point about 6-8 hours so up going out, down coming back overnight El Chalten

Day 13 Its Cerro Torre day, another magnificent day walk up, up, up going out then the laguna views which are spectacular, then down all the way home about 8 hours overnight El Chalten

Day 14 bus back to El Calafete and onward travels, either book another night in this lovely town to relax and explore or fly out

Inclusions: Accommodation throughout, dormitory shared rooms in hostels with breakfast and twin share tents full-service camping whilst on O Track, all meals whilst trekking. Return bus transfers Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine NP. Note Camping requires a sleep sheet as sleeping bags are included! All tents are twin share.

Not included: Transport to Puerto Natales, El Calafete, El Chalten and return
