Classic Grand Cliff Top Walk! From Wentworth Falls to Katoomba.

Be prepared for incredible views!
This new walk links several previously unconnected tracks including Charles Darwin, Weeping Rock, Undercliff Track, Eagles Nest, Nature Trail, Valley of the Waters, Lillians Bridge, Pool of Siloam and Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
We will start at Wentworth Falls Train Station (meet outside the train station on the western side) at 9.30am sharp (a train leaves Central at 7:24am from Platform 5 and arrives at Wentworth Falls Station at 9.18am).
From here we will make our way to Wentworth Falls and follow the restored sandstone track passing through countless lookouts, waterfalls, ups/downs as well as underneath one or two interesting rock overhangs.
On the way to Katoomba, the route takes in views over the Jamison Valley towards Mount Solitary, with elevated views of Wentworth Falls, Gordon Falls, Katoomba Cascades and the Three Sisters. The track meanders through diverse flora and fauna that call the dense rainforest ecology home.
There is the opportunity to exit the walk halfway at Leura and at some other places too.
We will aim to finish by 4.30pm at Echo Point, from which we can catch a bus to Katoomba Train Station for a train back to Sydney.

DISTANCE: 18 km.
GRADE: Medium, Grade 3 (some difficult climbs).
NOTE: A few get out points along the way, especially close to Leura. Please let the Host know if you leave the walk.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
· Be Prepared: Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring 2L of water (some refill points along the way) and dress for the weather. I would recommend hydralyte tablets, snacks, lunch and sun protection.
· Follow Instructions: Please follow the instructions of the Host at all times and keep the Host within sight.
