Spring into the South Coast: Gorgeous Kiama South Coast walk 14km medium

Kiama Coastal walk a beautiful south coast walk from the cute village of Gerrigong to the coastal city of Kiama via the gorgeous rolling hills of the south coast, easy trail but a few ups and downs, no rush for this walk of 12km or so what is a couple of km between friends.

If taking the train sit upper deck on the left for fabulous views.
Change trains at Kiama Station to Gerringong Station

Starting at Gerrigong Station we walk up through the village taking in sweeping views of the coast and historic cemetery, down for a loo stop at the first beach section (short only 100m or so) an onto the coastal pathway itself, over rolling hills, down into gullies and across headlands all with amazing views

Coming into Kiama around 3-3:30pm time for a cold beer in the pub before the train home...

Make sure you have plenty of snacks think carbs/sugar as protein takes too long to process. Do not skip salt... Your body requires energy to complete longer walks...

Trainers are ok but bring a jacket in case of a change of weather and 2l of water, plenty of places to top up along the way, plenty of places for food/coffee stops along the way though!
