Spectacular Sunset at South Head! From Rose Bay to Watsons Bay.

This walk will end up in one of the best places from which to watch the sunset over the city.
Walking to Watsons Bay from Rose Bay is a lovely way to spend a weekday evening – stunning evening views of one of the most scenic harbours in the world.
There are plenty of exit points so it’s perfect for anyone who is not sure how far they will be able to walk.
We will start at Circular Quay, Wharf 2. The ferry to Rose Bay leaves at 5.45pm and arrives at 5.58pm.
From Rose Bay, we will follow the coastline via the Hermitage Walk to Shark Bay, Nielsen Park, Vaucluse, Parsley Bay and then onto Watsons Bay.
If there is time, we may even do the South Head Heritage Trail and enjoy the views of North Head before looping back to Watsons Bay for the ferry back to Circular Quay and the train station (which is near where there are plenty of places to get a well-earned gelato!).
We will aim to finish no later than 9pm.
This walk consists of well-worn tracks and footpaths. However, there are a few stairs and some hills.

GRADE: Easy/Medium. Some stair climbing.
NOTE: Plenty of exit points. Please let the Host know if you leave the walk.

· Be Prepared: Wear trail runners or comfortable walking shoes, bring water and dress for the weather.
· Follow Instructions: Please follow the instructions of the Host at all times and keep the Host within sight.
