Bundeena to Little Marley Beach - 12km Easy/Medium

Bundeena to Little Marley Beach via Wedding Cake Rock and the Coastal track.
Join us for a weekend adventure in the Royal National Park, exploring the coastal track from Bundeena to Little Marley Beach!
This walk includes stunning coastal views from the seacliffs along the track and we will pass by Wedding Cake Rock, which is now fenced off.
Little Marley beach is a gorgeous spot for lunch and a swim and we will spend some time here to recharge, before heading back along the same track to Bundeena.
The trail will be around 12 km (return) and you will need to add another 3.5km if you are walking from the ferry to the start of the trail and back.
At the end of the walk we can check out Bundeena RSL for those people who want to have a cold beverage and maybe something to eat, before catching the ferry back to Cronulla or driving home.
Whether you are new in town or a seasoned trekker, this event is a great way to socialise with like-minded adventurers.

5-6 Hours (12km out and back) - EASY/MEDIUM

Transport
Bundeena can be accessed by car, or by Ferry. Please make sure you catch the ferry from Cronulla (8:30am) that arrives at 9:00am (Bundeena) and we will walk as a group to the trailhead at the end of Beachcomber Avenue.
If you are driving to Bundeena, please meet at the trailhead at the end of Beachcomber Avenue at 9:45am.
Trains from Central Station to Cronulla will take around 45 mins to an hour and it is a short walk to the Bundeena ferry terminal.
Please leave plenty of time to make each connection.

Meeting location
FERRY: We will meet outside the Cronulla Train Station and walk together from the station to the ferry for Bundeena.
DRIVING: Meet at the trailhead at the end of Beachcomber Avenue.

Please note

• There are unprotected cliffs along the walk. Please stay on the marked walking tracks and be aware of potential falls.
• This is an ocean beach and is not patrolled by lifeguards so please ensure you are a competent swimmer if entering the water.
• Take care on the slippery rock surfaces if you choose to swim in the rock pools.
