Hidden Swimming Holes in Heathcote NP! Heathcote Creek Loop via Kingfisher Pool.

The Heathcote Creek Loop is a lovely walk in Heathcote National Park, on the western side of the Princess Highway (not the Royal National Park side).
This side of the highway is ignored by many, not sure why. There are some terrific hiking trails and some lovely swimming waterholes to visit.
We will start at Waterfall Train Station at 9.15am. Meet at the Passenger Drop Off Area (turn left when you get to top of the ramp as you exit the train station).
A train leaves Central at 8.29am and arrives at Waterfall at 9.13am. Please check your transport app closer to the day.
From here we will pick up a trail that will leads us to Camp Coutts.
We will then climb up to Mount Westmacott for some lovely views of the surrounding area.
Once we climb back down, we will head to Kingfisher Pool for a swim and lunch. This is a lovely spot with very few hikers.
From here, we will make our way to Lake Toolooma by the fire trail and then back to Waterfall Train Station.
We will aim to finish by 3.30pm, from where we can catch a train back to Sydney.

GRADE: Moderate.
NOTE: No get out points. Please let the Host know if you leave the walk.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
· Be Prepared: Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring 2L of water and dress for the weather (bring swimmers). I would recommend hydralyte tablets, snacks, lunch and sun protection.
· Follow Instructions: Please follow the instructions of the Host at all times and keep the Host within sight.
