Austin RAW Conversations: Timing in Early-Stage Building & Fundraising

Austin RAW Conversations is a monthly meetup hosted by Arturo for founders, investors, and operators building and backing early-stage tech companies.

This March session centers on Timing, one of the most misunderstood forces in early-stage company building and investing.

How do you know if you’re early, late, or simply wrong?
When is it actually the right moment to raise?
Is market pull real, or are you manufacturing momentum?

We’ll explore timing as a strategic variable across fundraising, product readiness, distribution, and pricing. The session will take the form of a hands-on workshop with small facilitated pods led by experienced operators and mentors.

The conversation is structured and participatory. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance, but if you’re currently fundraising (or planning to in the next 12 months), you’ll get the most value from the session.

We’ll pressure test assumptions, examine real signals, and leave with sharper clarity around whether “now” is actually the right time.

Participation is highly encouraged.
