IN-PERSON Autistic Adults Peer Support Group

This is a free meetup for autistic people to discuss our lives, whatever is important to us right now. If you have questions about the possibility of diagnosis and what's involved, or you are in the process of diagnosis which is not yet complete, please know that you are also welcome.
We meet to listen and get to know each other. The purpose of the group is to process experiences with the support of others. Discussing our experiences brings clarity and solidarity around our challenges and triumphs.

Everyone gets a chance to share. However, all attendees are welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. You also do not have to stay for the entire event.

Please note: the facilitator of the group does not identify as autistic.

The office is a 5 minute walk from Lafayette BART station, and there is plenty of parking. You can safely park on the street or in the parking lots on either side of the office building.

Accessibility note: the office is on the third floor and although there is an elevator, the building is not ADA compliant and the door to access the elevator is a bit small. I am unclear if the size will accomodate all wheelchair or transportation devices.
