For the very first time, the Awesomely Awkward Social Club is meeting in person — and where better than the heart of New York City? Come join us for a relaxed, welcoming walk through Central Park where we can finally connect face-to-face.

This isn’t a lecture or a workshop — it’s about bringing our community together, sharing laughs, and making real memories. Whether you’ve been part of our online events or are joining us for the first time, you’ll be welcomed just as you are.

Here’s what to expect:

  • A guided walk through some of Central Park’s most iconic spots (Gapstow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, Belvedere Castle)
  • Lighthearted games and activities along the way to help us connect and get to know each other
  • Plenty of space for conversations, laughter, and simply enjoying the park together
  • You’re welcome to walk with us for the entire route (2.5 miles) or just join for part of it — come for as long as it feels right for you!
  • A big, awkwardly awesome group photo to remember our first IRL adventure 🎉

Details:

  • When: Sunday, November 16th at 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: We’ll meet at the Central Park South entrance (59th & 5th Ave, by The Pond)
  • I will update with an exact map with our walking route a few days before the event so everyone knows where to go.
  • What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, and your beautifully awkward self
  • Weather permitting: If the forecast looks rough, we’ll reschedule to keep things fun and safe

Whether 20 of us or 200 of us show up, this is going to be something special. Come be part of our very first Awesomely Awkward Social Club meetup in person — we can’t wait to see you there! 💛
