AWS Fortify: Security Hands-on Hour (IAM)

This session is designed to help beginners and intermediate learners understand how secure access in the cloud works and why IAM is the foundation of every secure AWS environment.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create and manage IAM users, groups, roles, and policies using real AWS configuration. We will explore the principle of least privilege, implement MFA for account protection, configure secure password policies, and use IAM Access Analyzer to detect risky permissions—all within the AWS Free Tier.
