Day 1: Confidence. Day 14: Spreadsheets (field notes from my first 100 days as a new CTO)
Every new CTO walks in with a plan. Then they open the cloud bill, meet the server that’s “temporary” (since 2017), and discover who actually has admin access. This talk is my field notes on what I found, what I wish I’d checked first, and what I’d tell my Day-1 self.

It'll cover cost optimisation, handling end-of-life apps, infrastructure drift, supply chain security, permission reviews, best-practice adherence and a light dabble into process modernisation, with honest stories and a few laughs. You'll leave with a 100-day approach you can use whether you're stepping into a new role or just inheriting someone's "quick fix."

Which Model Should Your Agent Use? Answering it with Evidence
Every team running AI agents faces the same questions: which model, on what setup, with which prompts, and at what cost? Liam O'Duibhir from 2pi Software shows how to answer them with a few simple, repeatable tests instead of gut feel. Using 2pi's own code-review agent, RooBot, he'll walk through real comparisons of accuracy, speed and spend, including how the team chose RooBot's models by planting bugs and seeing which models caught them.
