Andrew will lift the lid on AWS Nitro - the custom-built hypervisor behind modern EC2. In this fast-paced tour, learn what Nitro is, why AWS built it, and how it boosts performance, security, and flexibility for your workloads (with a cameo from the legendary dom0).

Asynchronous communication and event-driven architecture are core to building distributed applications. Amazon EventBridge, a fully-managed serverless event bus, enables coordinating distributed and loosely coupled microservices to accomplish business functionality.

In this session, understand the characteristics of EventBridge and how it plays a pivotal role in serverless architectures.
