For our August meetup we are joined by Patrick Munsey, Partner at Aivia Group, a geospatial services and technology company.

Patrick is a partner at Aivia Group, a geospatial services and technology firm. His background is in mechatronics engineering and artificial intelligence. He began his career working on the prototyping and developing novel drone systems. Patrick recognised the increasing value in the data generated from remote sensing platforms and consequently started Aivia Group with his partner. They offer services for capturing, processing, and analysing geospatial data and also serve as a technology partner for other businesses. Their projects often involve developing custom tools and software for web mapping, geospatial data pipelines, and analysis. Patrick's current passion project is developing his geospatial web application, AVA (Asset Visualisation and Analysis). This application will help distribute large geospatial datasets to their clients and non-technical stakeholders.
