Join Brittany from Cosy Art Club for a relaxed morning of sketchbooking, watercolour and creative play at The Eclectic Mix in Wynnum.

Surrounded by the café and store's beautiful collection of vintage treasures, we'll slow down and notice the objects, colours, shapes and little details that catch our eye, using them as inspiration for our own sketchbook pages.

I'll share some simple drawing, watercolour and mixed-media prompts to help you get started, followed by plenty of time to experiment, create and chat at your own pace.

No perfection and no need to be "good at drawing", just curiosity and a playful mindset. Complete beginners are very welcome, as are experienced creatives looking for some dedicated sketchbook time and creative company.

What to expect:

• Simple sketchbooking, drawing and watercolour prompts
• Plenty of relaxed, hands-on creative time
• Individual guidance if you'd like it
• Inspiration from the vintage objects and surroundings
• A small, welcoming group of fellow creatives
• A hot beverage and homemade treat (sweet and savoury options available)

Art materials are provided, or you're very welcome to bring your own sketchbook and favourite supplies.
