Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba Courses with Party on the Kraftwerkinsel

Join us for a relaxed evening of dancing on the Kraftwerk Island in Basel, right by the Rhine next to Birsköpfli! We meet at the one end of the Island which is more towards East (see also added image below).

The event begins with beginner-friendly classes in salsa, bachata, and kizomba, followed by a social dance party where you can practice what you've learned and enjoy the music.

5pm : Dominican Bachata class
6pm : Cuban Salsa beginners class
7pm : Cuban Salsa intermediates workshop
8:30pm : Party on 2 floors (Salsa-Bachata vs Kiz) - We provide 2 big loudspeakers

10 CHF/€ per class/workshop per attendee or 20 CHF/€ for all classes including the party. If you only come to the party, please consider making a donation.

Whether you're new to these styles or already have some experience, everyone is welcome. You don’t need a partner to join – just come as you are and enjoy the atmosphere by the water!
