What weāre about
Welcome to Bay Area Hiking, Walking, Wellness Club!
Where Healthy Living Meets Lifelong Friendships and Love!
Our club is all about embracing a healthy lifestyle, nurturing a positive mindset, and reveling in the beauty of nature. If you're someone who enjoys Green Exercise outdoor workouts, and can hike/walk 5-8 miles without health issues (do consult your personal physician), we invite you to join us.
Here's what makes us special:
*Transformative Events: Our club events bring people together, fostering new friendships and even sparking love stories. The benefits are profound, including better health, reduced stress, and the end of isolation.
*Safety First: Your well-being is our top priority. We strictly follow CDC guidelines and protocols. If you're feeling unwell, we kindly ask you to wait until you're better to join us.
For everyone's safety and convenience, we encourage carpooling among those who know each other well.
*Stunning Locations: We're fortunate living in the bay areaĀ to have shaded forests, mountain trails, and beach walks with amazing ocean sunsets nearby. Your suggestions for new areas to explore are always welcome.
*Convenient Scheduling: Enjoy our thoughtfully scheduled events, mostly in the late morning, afternoon, and evenings, to fit your personal schedule. Allowing you to get your beauty sleep, and even your morning 'errands' are merely a stylish sprint to fetch that perfect breakfast or cup of coffee.
*Inclusivity: Whether you're reuniting with old friends or looking to meet new people while exercising outdoors, you'll find a warm and welcoming community here.
**How does nature nurture the brain? **After a 60-minute walk in nature, activity in brain regions involved in stress processing decreases...
Mental health prescription: Nature
Being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. Spending quality time in the great outdoors reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University. In addition to having mental health benefits, being outdoors opens up your senses to your surroundings and improves your sensory perception. Taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of nature has so many health benefits it can even be prescribed by a doctor.
Our Club events have a very positive impact on people's lives, people meet, fall in loveš meet new friends, HAPPY, better health, less stress, anxiety, depression, isolate being alone and got extra bonus for LOVE āš
*Note: We appreciate your support to keep our club thriving. Your donation/contribution helps cover our costs and enhance our meetups.
A small event fee helps cover organizing costs, including planning, permits, and many other expenses that go into making these events happen. A lot of time and effort goes into researching trails, securing permits, and managing unexpected challenges. Your support helps keep these adventures goingāthank you for being part of the journey!
*When you attend our group events, implied consent is assumed for photography. If you prefer not to be photographed, please feel free to let people know.
Join us and be part of a community that not only promotes wellness but also nurtures lifelong friendships and, in some cases, love stories. We look forward to meeting you and making lasting memories together!

Hello Ocean Lovers, If you don't have any plans on Labor Day...
Let's go meet new friends for Green Exercise a wellness hike by the beach, enjoy fresh Ocean air, Healing Sea for our physical health and mental well-beingšThis segment of the CA Coastal Trail runs parallel to the Pacific Coast along what used to be the Ocean Shore Railroad. It's truly a destination trail. It offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, access to several beaches and excellent nature viewing. Bird watching is quite good and a popular activity here. Red-tailed hawks, blue herons and red-winged blackbirds are spotted frequently, and large hawks can often be seen perched on benches and the trail's split-rail fence. Hello Ocean Lovers, Let's meet up go for a green exercise wellness hike at Lands End Trail For our physical health and mental well-beingš Meeting new friends and get a good workout together.
Lands End Trail is a favorite among both locals and visitors alike! This trail explores the historic Sutro Baths and offers great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. A must see for any visitor to San Francisco.
Lands End San Francisco
The Coastal Trail at Lands End in San Francisco is a gorgeous spot for hiking, but most visitors to the city don't know it's there.Early History
San Francisco was originally inhabited by the Ohlone Indians. An archeological site at Lands End was dated at 150 A.D., but there is evidence that Indians had been living in San Francisco for around 3,000 years. They had seasonal camps where the Sutro Baths ruins are now, eating seafood and hunting seals; archeologists found their garbage dumps, more politely known as middens.Hiking the Lands End Trail
The Lands End Coastal Trail is walkway that starts just above the Cliff House, then winds in and out of the woods and along the edge of the bluffs, and ends in a ritzy residential area (Sea Cliff) near China Beach.Lands End Trail.
The way down is quite steep, but there is a stairway to follow. It's a small, rocky beach, good for relaxing and watching the breaking waves, but too rough (and cold) for swimming.Mile Rock Beach
Another branch of the same path will take you down to the mini-beach, Mile Rock Beach, at the foot of Lands End Point.Mile Rock Beach-Tiny, but cool!
It secluded the beach at the entrance to San Francisco Bay, a scene of many shipwrecks, but a pretty detour off the gorgeous.Meet at 1:00pm and Hike time: 1:30pm

Hello Ocean Lovers, Let's meet new friends go for a Green Exercise Wellness Hike by the Montara State Beach enjoy Ocean air and Healing Sea for our physical Health and Mental well-beingš
Old Colma Road Loop: This loop covers a variety of historical paths. As you leave the lot and head through the gate north, you pass through a long straight road corridor. This was cut by the Ocean Shore Railroad (1908-1920) for its rail line...
On the way you will first pass a building that was originally built as part of a WW2 military station used to observe potential enemies off the coast. Bear left at this point and slowly climb Old Colma. You will come across a very steep portion created by fill from the nearby tunnel's construction before stepping back down to the original road...
Devil's Slide is a name given to a steep, rocky coastal promontory located about midway between Montara and the Linda Mar District of Pacifica.
Devil's Slide Bunker: The graffiti-covered remnants of a former triangulation station are balanced precariously on this California peak.
HIGH ATOP CALIFORNIAāS COASTAL PEAK known colorfully as Devilās Slide are the crumbling remains of a squat cement building that looks as though it is about to tip off the edge of the summit and slide into the sea.
The bunker on Devilās Peak was originally built during World War II as a triangulation and observing station and was once simply a piece of a much bigger set of buildings and facilities...was abandoned in 1949, leaving an empty bunker atop Devilās Slide.
Devilās Slide Trail is a segment of the California Coastal Trail, a trail that, when finished, will extend 1,200 miles from Oregon to Mexico, connecting travelers to California's varied oceanside landscapes.
Devilās Slide Trail is a multi-use trail, converted from a former segment of Highway 1, that gives hikers, runners, bicyclists and equestrians access the rocky heights of Devilās Slide above the Pacific Ocean. At provided overlooks, trail users may rest on benches and gaze through observation scopes and take in the view of the rocky coastal waters below. Interpretive signs are placed at key points along the trail and describe the history, geography and the marine and avian communities that live and migrate here.
