Potter to McHugh

HELLO FROM HIATUS! Sorry for the short notice. Now that spring is upon us, we need to get back out there!

Let's hike Potter to McHugh and back for a total of 6.6 miles. This is for intermediate hikers. It's one of my favorites in winter because of the wind protection and stamped down snow, trickling creeks, and fantastic views. Besides a few steep hill, it's low elevation gain.

This hike is about a 15 minute drive from South Anchorage. Be prepared for limited parking.

If you have control of your dog(s) off-leash, you are welcome to bring yours! If not, leashes will be required.
