SLOW Intermeasy MTB Ride, Skyliner Sno-park Trailhead

Details

Slower than the usual Intermeasy. If you ride with Kirk, Burt, or Pat when they lead a ride, this ride is not for you. As BACE ride leaders we want to give slower riders a BACE ride in which they can feel comfortable. Please don't sign-up for this ride if you are a medium speed or fast rider. No one left behind. We will have a sweep.

The ride: We will meet by the maps at Skyliner trailhead. Arrive at 9:15 am for 9:30 pre-ride introductions and the route explanation , then we will start the ride.

We’ll start by riding up Tumalo Ridge trail to Swede Shelter. After a short break we’ll ride Sector 16 to Shooting Star Shelter. Then ride downhill on Upper Whoops and Skyliner Trail back to the Skyliner TH. Nothing really technical. Tumalo Ridge has some interesting short climbs, but you can always walk these short sections.

Distance: Will be about 13 miles and around 1300 ft of climbing overall. It’s pretty much climbing to Swede then downhill after that.

About 2 hours pending the speed of the group. No one left behind.

Lunch or coffee afterwards. To be announced where at meet time.
