I can't stop thinking about this story and the superb art behind it. O'Connor is a master.
There will be plenty of time to mull this over when you start sleeping again. Many students are exposed for the first time to impactful, multi-themed and ambiguous literature with this short story. And will never forget the term "Southern Gothic".
