🥾Hike W. Metolius River 5 Mile Moderate + 🍻The Barn in Sisters

Get ready for an another beautiful 5 mile moderate hike along the West Metolius River Trail! This one’s a real gem!

We will begin our out and back hike at the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery. Our turnaround point is Canyon Creek Campground. There are restrooms at each end of the trail.

Bring plenty of water and a snack. We will break for about 10 minutes at our turn around point to chat, hydrate, and have a snack. Hiking pools optional. There are tons of rocks and tripping hazards FYI. Poles would be helpful. There were no mosquitoes on this trail in July. I will bring mosquito spray to a share just in case.

Please arrive by 8:30 am at the general store so we can hit the trail at nine at the fish hatchery. There are restrooms at the general store, at the trailhead at the fish hatchery, and at our turnaround point.
