Wednesday Evening Walk: Tring to Hastoe

Start point:
Meet at the entrance to The Forge Car Park, just off the High Street in Tring. There is no parking charge after 6pm.

Walk description:
This walk will be led by Leila.
Five mile walk making our way along footpaths from the centre of the town through the lovely Tring Park and a little uphill to Hastoe. From here, there are some lanes and a couple of large fields, until we come to pretty woodland, and finally a nice open downhill stretch with views of Tring below.
There is the option to go to a pub in the centre of Tring afterwards for those who would like to. The Robin Hood is nearby and has a courtyard garden.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.
Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
