This is a 6.5 mile walk that takes us on the Chiltern Way across fields and woodland from the village of Flaunden. We leave the Chiltern Way & make our way through Hanginglane Wood down to cross the River Chess. We head towards Chenies and pass the manor before crossing the Chess again. We head back past Baldwin’s Wood and back to Flaunden where we will need to decamp to The Bricklayers for refreshments.

Please use the Google maps link to find the car park where there is plenty of free parking.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions. If you are unable to attend please be sure to change your RSVP otherwise the departure will be delayed.
