Midweek Walk: Wendover Woods and Cobblers' PIt

We meet in the car park in Wendover at 10.30. If you come in from Aston Clinton through Halton and into the High Street, the car park is on the left.
The walk is approximately 5.5. miles with one steep section and heads towards the woods before descending to the canal. We'll avoid the very steep rise to the woods and skirt around Haddington Hill. We briefly join the road to circle around Halton House then cross Harelane Bridge and join the canal path. A flat walk along the canal brings us back to Wendover where we can have a coffee or tea in one of the many welcoming cafes.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.
Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
