Trail Work in Joaquin Miller Park
Details
Castle Park Trail V2. Maybe finishing this, but probably not. Got a bit more digging to do. This is gem of a trail in Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland, that is often avoided because of a short, steep section. We're fixing that!
Orientation at 9 am. Wrapping up at 1 pm.
We'll be working on the bed of the trail and the switchback at the bottom.
Bring gloves, sturdy footwear, and a water bottle.
Tools and snacks provided.
Electronic Waiver for BTCEB and City of Oakland:
If you can please fill this out before you arrive and it will save some time and get us going sooner: https://esign.ottersign.com/p/bicycle-trails-council-of-the-east-bay/X8zxOyRSGD
We will enter the trail at the corner of Castle Drive and Holyrood Drive. Parking space is limited. Please be respectful of the neighbors and not block the spaces at the adjacent homes.
And Yes, Rain Cancels
Happy Trails,
Tom Gandesbery
