Come and join us on a fun, beautiful winter hike. ❄️
We'll be hiking (possibly snow-showing) about 5-6 miles.

Butler Gulch offers a rewarding mix of forested creek walks, alpine bowls bursting, and stunning summit views—all within a half-day moderate effort. Be weather-ready (nowshoes and spikes are recommendedended), we will start early, and enjoy a hike that’s as scenic as it is accessible.
We'll be hiking at about a 2.5-3 mph pace. The elevation gain will be about 1800 feet and should be OK for moderate hikers.

This is a "dog friendly" hike, if your leashed dog will keep up and is friendly with other dogs. Your dog is your responsibility!

Parking: There is usually a good amount of parking at the trailhead, so arriving at a reasonable time should be easy.

After we conquer the Butler Gulch hike this weekend, we’re planning to grab some delicious food in Evergreen-Genesee (https://www.geneseepubandbbq.com), a good friend of mine owns this place.
to refuel and relax 🍜😋
