Details
Hey guys,
Newcastle Council is holding a free learn to ride class for beginners or rusty riders, called "Cycling Essentials".
I am not involved in running this event.
I am just spreading the word about these great courses. Hopefully these courses will be run again, particularly if there is a lot of interest in them.
Date: Sunday, 22 June, 2025
Time: 2pm-5pm
Where: National Park Netball Courts, (Union Street side)
Registration is essential. Limited spots.
Register on the Council website here: https://newcastle.nsw.gov.au/living/transport-and-parking/cycling/cycling-courses
- If it's booked out, I encourage you to fill out the contact details form on the website, so that Council knows people are interested, and they will contact you about any future courses.
- This is one of four different cycling courses running every weekend in June: safe city cycling, basic bike maintenance, advanced bike maintenance, and Cycling Essentials (how to ride a bike for beginners & rusty riders).
- Go to the website above to register for any of the 4 courses.
