Celebrate Seniors Festival 2026 with a guided bicycle tour of Newcastle!
I’ll be hosting this ride in conjunction with the Newcastle Cycleways Movement, the local active transport advocacy group.
🌟 Enjoy an easy, leisurely ride, featuring Newcastle’s scenic foreshore paths, ocean views, and quiet inner city streets.
🗓️ When: Thursday 12 March, 9am - 12pm (please arrive 15 minutes before 9am)
📍Start/finish: Novacare, 51 Robertson St, Carrington

When we finish the ride, there will be:
☕️ Free morning tea, at Seniors Festival Picnic, thanks to Novacare Newcastle
🛠️🚲 Free bike check by a professional mechanic (the brilliant Bernie), thanks to Newcastle Council
👍 Suitable for most skill and fitness levels.
✨Distance: 15km loop
✨Mostly flat, with some gentle undulation
✨Slow, leisurely pace — 10-15km/hr
