Are you new to cycling or new to the area? Have you just bought a bike and wish to ride with others? We are Bike Barn Cycles, a full service bicycle shop located on Route 30 in Amsterdam, NY. We are coordinating beginner to intermediate group rides for our customers and the cycling community at large.
Yes, this is the same group that had over a thousand members and a five star rating back in 2020. We’re getting the band back together!
Beginning in mid April through the end of September we will be doing weekly rides at five various locations around the capital district. These rides will be rotating each week. These scenic recreational rides will be primarily along parts of the Mohawk & Hudson River bike paths. We’ve chosen routes that are accessible, offering a high level of fun and historic value. These out and back rides will vary in length from 10 to 18 miles. We will call them “Moov-It Mondays”. Open to all bicycle types including e-bikes so ride your own ride. Helmets and a bell are required. Also, we will also be offering group discounts in our shop for members of this group.
