Tempe Pipeline Loop

What we'll do
Start: Pioneers Memorial Park, Norton Street Leichhardt
Time: 8.30AM
Distance: 25 km
Grade: Easy

Starting in Pioneers Memorial Park Leichhardt at 8.30am we will ride down to the Greenway and cycle through to Tempe Reserve via the Cooks River cycle path. From Tempe Reserve we will head along the Alexandra Canal Pipeline towards Coward Street Mascot before then joining the Bourke Street Cycleway for a short distance before riding the newish cycle path along Campbell Road St Peters. From there we will head up through Newtown and Erksineville and back to Leichhardt via Sydney Uni.

This social ride is mostly on quieter roads with bike lanes or off-road bike paths. There are a few train stations along the way if bail out option is needed.

Along the way we will stop for the obligatory coffee and chat (venue TBD).

What to take:
A bike in good mechanical order; a helmet; water bottle, a spare inner tube(s) and a pump in case of a puncture and wet weather jacket depending on forecast.
