Canberra Multi Day Adventure

Just a reminder. If you are going make sure you organise your accommodation as October is a busy time in the ACT. There are seven rider vacancies available.

This is advanced notice for a Canberra and surrounds adventure. Details will be included here as time goes by. This is a repeat performance of last year's successful event but will have longer segments. Day 1 (55km) will be around Lake Burley Griffin with detours to the Arboretum, forests and embassies. Day 2 will be a rural ride out to Sutton for lunch and back (72km) with some small hills. Day 3 will be a flat, part rural trip to Tharwa and return (72km).

We had excellent accommodation at the Pavilion Hotel, 242 Northbourne Avenue Canberra. We will stay there again and I have arranged a 15% discount with ground floor rooms so you can snuggle up to your bike. So arrive Canberra for a group dinner on 18 October, ride 19, 20, 21; stay 22 October or leave after the ride on 21 October. It is not recommended that you drive home after a big ride. I am happy to lead a REQUEST ride for 4 hours on the 22 nd allowing time to drive home in the afternoon. Ideas are welcome??
