The Greenway, the ramp off Sydney Harbour Bridge, and now the M6 Active Transport Link, have opened recently.

This is a great piece of infrastructure, running from Bestic St, past President Ave into Monterey along Muddy Creek.

Meet 8:30 at the rotunda in Jack Shanahan Reserve, Dulwich Hill. This is the park at the end of the Greenway path, and also next to the Dulwich Hill Terminus Light Rail Stop. The Greenway is very popular, so leave plenty of time to traverse it.

We head out the usual route as if going to Bright Beach, but at Bestic St we take the fabulous new path. It has a dramatic overpass over President Ave.

The path ends just near the archery field where Chuter Ave turns into O'Connell St. We rejoin to waterfront path, and have coffee either at Brighton or Dolls Point.

We then ride back to Jack Shanahan.

Bring water, helmet and a bike in good working order, a spare tube for punctures. Sunscreen.

Watch the weather! If the temperature is forecast above 35 during the ride I will cancel it.

This path is well worth exploring.
