A Bike Leichhardt Breakfast Event

We kick off 2026 and repeat this event that was successfully held a few years back. There wont be much riding, it will be more social, a good opportunity to chat about all the upcoming tours and events, maybe come up with some new ones as well.
Two groups of riders will converge on Balls Head Reserve for the breakfast event it is a top setting. Dave Halloran will lead a group from Leichhardt, and Laura will lead a group from the North Shore. Details of start location and times will be given later.
The barbecues will be fired up and ready to go at 9:30 am; in time for the arriving groups.
Happy for riders to find their own way to the event; if you don’t want to ride, Waverton station is only a 10-minute walk away.
To keep it simple, I plan at this point to provide all the food, which will be a bacon and egg roll with all the condiments, and to keep it manageable, a five-dollar fee will be charged. If you want to do your own thing, that’s okay, bring your own tucker but you will still be up for the five dollars.
No need to be a Bike Leichhardt member; new riders and riders from other clubs are welcome to come along and enjoy the morning. I would love to catch up some of our long standing members that we don’t see much of anymore, particularly those who came on tours.
If you are in contact or ride with other groups, invite them; a fun morning is guaranteed.

If the weather looks tricky, I will make a call at 12 pm the day before.
Please do not commit and bail out at the last minute.
