New M12 Path, ++

Suit fit or electrified riders, as we'll be "moving along".

An "almost" loop, gently undulating 43km, anticlockwise, comprising 3 sections of mainly shared paths:
(a) south 12+km from Kingswood Station, mainly aside The Northern Rd;
(b) east 15+km on the new path mainly aside the M12;
(c) north 15km to Rooty Hill Station, mainly aside the M7.

There is no convenient refreshment option along the route. So ...

(a) For coffee beforehand, catch an earlier train, cross the highway & head west some 150M to "Coffee Mate";

(b) Bring a snack and we'll stop after 26km at Wylde MTB & BMX Park (loo there).

(c) Optionally stay for lunch at TNB Cafe near Rooty Hill Stn.

If coming by car, consider parking near Rooty Hill Stn and catching the train 4 stations to Kingswood.

The latest quarter-hourly train for our ride arrives at Kingswood at 10:15. That leaves Central at 9:18, Strathfield at 9:31.

Trains east afterwards are quarter-hourly.

Full route map currently unavailable in RwGPS as M12 path shown but not incorporable in a route.

You'll need a bicycle in good working order, helmet, water, sun screen, spare tube for punctures.
