Monday Gravel (or short road) Ride - Wagoner Road

Wagoner Road is located just past Kirkland Junction on the left hand side of Highway 89, but for parking turn right on Kirkland junction and park in the dirt area on your right. You can do a shorter road ride of about 22 miles or add the gravel section for a combined road/gravel of about 41 miles and 3000 feet of climbing. As an out and back ride you can make this ride whatever distance you choose. (You can even continue for more miles on the gravel, but warning it does get much steeper and rockier beyond our turn around point). There is a very short section of gravel at the very beginning of the ride but it quickly turns to pavement.

This is a really beautiful area with very little traffic and the section with the gravel is relatively smooth. We will regroup at the Hassayampa bridge and at the turn around spot.
