Big Sit at Frances Short Pond (Flagstaff)
On your mark, ready... set - sit! During this one-hour birding "Big Sit" you can test your birding skills, have some fun, and learn about your local wintering birds! We’ll stay in one spot and see how many species we can identify in one hour. It's perfect for new bird watchers and those who don't want to navigate terrain. You'll be surprised how many birds might pop up for one last drink before heading to their roost. This field trip is followed by the NAAS monthly program (Love Birds Storytelling Night) at the East Flagstaff Library starting at 5:30pm with cookies, and full program starting at 6:00 pm.
