Canalside walk from Brindley Place to Oldbury

Come and join myself and Mark for a leisurely gentle walk alongside the canal while enjoying some conversations, nature and hopefully some lovely weather!

Meeting point will be outside the Solomon Cutler pub on Broad street and we'll wait for around 10 minutes before setting off, so please be on time if wanting to catch us before we set off!

The walk will be approximately 10-12km and will take around 2-3 hours and at the end we'll either end up in Oldbury town centre or Sandwell and Dudley Station depending on which route we take towards the end of the walk, which will probably just be open to discussion on the day and see what people would like to do.

They'll be option of a wetherspoons pub afterwards also if people wish to stay on longer and have a drink or some food before heading to local transport in Oldbury to head home via buses or trains.

Be mindful to wear comfortable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather on the day and to bring suncream if due warmer weather. Also a good idea to bring along a bottle of water to quench thirst along the way and keep hydrated.
