4th Monday Hootenanny Jam (Christmas Edition)

The 8th annual Christmas Jam is almost here: MONDAY, DECEMBER 22nd, 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. at the Beth-El Mennonite Church, 4625 Ranch Road, in Colorado Springs. The jam will be in Room 10, Michael Watry will be your jam host.

The THEME of the jam is UNUSUAL CHRISTMAS (OR HOLIDAY) SONGS. In lieu of our usual song books, we are asking that you bring 15-20 copies of the lyrics & chords for your own favorite Christmas (or Holiday) song or carol. If you don't have any, don't worry -- come to the jam anyway with your instrument and/or just your voice. Michael will also bring song sheets from previous jams.

Some details about Beth-El Mennonite Church (which we greatly appreciate hosting us):

• Beth-El Mennonite Church is on the east side of Union, and is best approached from Austin Bluffs Parkway, turn north on Union and then less than a mile to the church (on the east side of Union). Aerial view here, click the photo of Beth-El for a google map.
• Parking is free.
• Access to the building is through the side door (South Side). The main doors will not be open.
• The room for the jam is room 10. It is near the South door where you will enter.
• Also, we'll have our usual donation bucket, with donations going to cover our rental cost at this site and then supporting other Black Rose activities.
