Shark Tooth Kayak Excursion (Beginner Friendly, Kayaks provided, Summerville)

Did you know Summerville is infamous for shark tooth hunting?
If you are looking for an adventure this weekend, come with me and Ryan (from High Points Kayaking) as he guides us on both kayaking and were to find shark teeth. We will kayak about 1/2 mile out to the hunting spot, get out and hunt, then have a half mile paddle back.

I have virtually no kayaking experience, but he assures me this is a great beginner tour as we will be out at low tide so the water will be low and the water speed will be extra slow.

Included:

• the kayak,
• paddle,
• life jacket and
• tools for finding and keeping shark's teeth and other fossils!
• You will need to provide your height and weight so the correct kayak and life jacket size can be prepared

What to bring

• It is highly recommend that everyone wear water shoes.
• Sunscreen (most of the journey is in the shade but it is still a good idea)
• bug spray
• water
