Buck Ridge/Buck Hollow Circuit Hike, Moderately Strenuous

A quick trip up the Buck Ridge stairs is a great way to reconnect with nature and enjoy the continued show of wildflowers on the weekend. We'll start at the Buck Ridge parking area on Rt 211 for this 1,800 ft, 6.2 mile circuit hike starting with the staircase on Buck Ridge and descending the Buck Hollow trail back to our cars.

Dogs are welcome and NPS leash rules apply.

Meet at the Rt 211 Buck Ridge parking area by 8:30 a.m.

What to Bring: Make sure your emergency contact information is in your pack. Bring your park pass, first aid kit, hiking poles (strongly recommended), 2-3 liters of water, electrolytes, sunscreen, insect repellent, and lunch or snacks. Dress for the weather, including hiking boots/shoes, hat.
