What we’re about
This is a table top gaming group that meets once a week in the city of Karlsruhe.
We play old and new table top games in a pub or restaurant one night a week between 7 and 11pm. Occasionally, we meet at other times, for other activities.
This is a multicultural group who speak mostly English and enjoy friendship, light hearted fun and some table top gaming. You'll be fine with other languages, too.
Once you join, you will start to receive weekly invites to the group activity, please use the RSVP facility to help us plan and book the evening accordingly. Feel free to contact an organiser if you have any queries.
Everybody is welcome :)

See all- FRIDAY 17:00 Boardgames at KulturkücheKulturküche Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe
You like to meet new people in Karlsruhe? All this while playing some fun and easy-to-learn board and card games? Then this might be exactly what you're looking for!
Where?
At Kulturküche, opposite of the university. It's one of the oldest buildings in Karlsruhe (built in 1723). You can find it in between the tram stations Durlacher Tor and Kronenplatz. When?
The board game night starts at 17:00, and goes on until at least 22:00. If 17:00 is too early for you, it's totally fine to arrive later. What about food and drinks?
Kulturküche is an alcohol-free place. Water dispensers and drinking glasses are located close to the tables, and you can get non-alcoholic drinks on a donation basis at the bar. Unfortunately, the kitchen is only open at the second board game night of every month. But when it's closed, you can get food from the places nearby.Do I need to bring anything?
If possible, try to bring a game to share: Usually card or board games for at least 4 players are popular, such as Codenames, Exploding Kittens, Just One, or Sushi Go Party. You don't have any game to bring? Don't worry, there are always enough people who like to show you how to play their favorite board games. Is everything in English?
Most of us speak English and German. The games we play are normally either in English, or are language neutral (i.e. they use only symbols and no text). For some of the games, we also have manuals in French or Spanish. Please RSVP so we can properly plan ahead. And if you can't make, it or change your mind, please cancel your RSVP, so others can join instead. If all spots are already taken, you can make use of the waiting list. We might be able to raise the attendee limit some days before the event.
See you at the board game night!
