Board Game Play Testing @Replay!

Are you a fan of fast-paced card games like Monopoly Deal or Exploding Kittens? Come join us for a special evening where we help a local Bristol designer put their new creation through its paces!

We’ll be hosting a playtest of Match Play, a golf-themed card game that is easy to learn, quick to play, and full of tactical disruption.

The Game at a Glance

• Players: 2–4
• Time: 20–40 minutes
• Vibe: Light strategy, "Take That" mechanics, and quick rounds.
• Golf Knowledge: Absolutely zero required! If you can count and like sabotaging your friends, you’re ready to play.

How it Works

Players compete over a series of holes by playing Shot cards to build their score. Along the way, you’ll use Handicap cards to gain an edge or drop Hazard cards to ruin your opponent's day—just make sure you avoid those pesky Bogeys! Each round (hole) lasts a fixed number of turns based on its "Par," and the lowest score wins.

Why we need you

Our local designer is looking for honest, friendly feedback and this is a great chance to see the "behind the scenes" of game design and influence the final version of a new card game. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a casual player, your input is incredibly valuable.
