What is Qigong?
Qigong combines intentional movements with mindful breathing to develop and balance the body’s qi – vital energy. It is known to provide benefits for physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual purposes. Through practicing qigong, one can enhance circulation, support the immune system, reduce stress, improve clarity, and create opportunities for healing.

What to Expect
This Qigong Basics Class involves a combination of meridian stretching, body tapping, vibration, energy-accumulation postures, deep breathing, and meditation. The purpose of this class is to bring the brain's awareness to the body through sensitization exercises. The long-term goal is to have a healthy body, a happy heart, and a powerful brain that allows you to create peace in your life. Although the class officially begins at 8:00 am, warm-ups begin 10 minutes prior, and new visitors must fill out the visitor information sheet and pay $15 cash. Therefore, please be here by 7:30 am.

What to Bring
Dress in comfortable clothing that lets you move around freely. Bring your water bottle to hydrate before and after class. Optionally, you may bring a small towel for sweat. Please do not bring a yoga mat because we have special flooring designed for the exercises we share. The class is $15 cash; please make sure you pay before entering the class. Please come on time, by 7:30 am, to ensure you can receive the full experience and that others can focus well.
