As a reminder, at the bottom of every book club posting is the years reading list, in order. Use this list to get ahead, find deals on books, get the Libby reservation, etc. This list extends out through September. (Scroll down!)

Sorry for posting this so late. The next normal date for this meeting falls on days I will be out of town. I can post it sooner, or later... I think I'm going with sooner so we can move to the sci-fi novel that has some buzz.

Which brings us to "The Sex Lives of Cannibals". It's non-fiction, a travel journal of life on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific. If you like this sort of book, I would recommend it to you. There is quite a bit of culture shock, which was quite interesting. Add in some world history and some odd economic global efforts to help the indigenous people, and the story gets even more interesting.

Since time is short, I'm going to have a single Tuesday meeting for this book. If you have read this book and can't make this meeting, there will be a catch-all meeting later this year where we can chat about the story.

Otherwise, plow on to Service Model by Adrian Tchaikovsky. The meetings for this book will be March 2nd and 3rd.
