About us
Books & Brew is a laid-back Oakland book club for readers who like their discussions lively and their drinks cold. We meet once a month at local breweries in Oakland and nearby cities to discuss a featured book, meet new people, and unwind.
All genres are welcome—we aim for a fun, diverse mix of stories and members. If you enjoy reading, sharing opinions, and laughing over a pint (or two), you’ll fit right in here.
Members help shape what we read: you can submit titles through our Book Recommendation Form. Each month, three member picks go into a poll, and the winner becomes our next book.
Come for the books, stay for the people, and leave with a longer TBR list and a few new friends.
