Computer Vision and Preventing Strokes
Details
Let's get together, eat pizza, and hear from local companies and experts in the field. In this event we hear from Harald Ruda (LinkedIn), about Elucid's revolutionary medical imaging product. We will also hear from a couple of BU PhD students (details to come), and a CVPR recap.
Elucid works on measurements of plaque buildup in arteries from CT scan, a promising approach to measure risk of stroke, and to save lives. Harald will discuss how one creates computer vision algorithms to measure plaque buildup, and the potential live saving abilities of the algorithms.
