Details

Firstly a few gentle reminders:

  • not to attend the volunteering session if you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus, flu etc.
  • dogs not allowed
  • if possible, please car share
  • we pride ourselves on working well together, and as an all inclusive group, expect consideration of others
  • please let the event host know prior to the start of the work party if you have to cancel, allowing someone on the waitlist to take your place.

The Task
We will park and meet at Bishops Court Farm House then walk to
the orchard by the pub
Our contractor wont hay cut it anymore and no-one has said yes to doing it. So we will be cutting it ourselves but mainly cutting by scythe attachement on a machine and then raking it up pitch forking it into a trailer and then getting rid of it up at the farm buildings for compost.

Please remember to bring:

  • your own lunch and plenty of fluids (no alcohol)
  • stout shoes/boots, gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather
  • PPE just in case it's needed
  • your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card
