Bridge Builders Toastmasters Club General Meeting - Int'l & Tall Tales Contest

Bridge Builders Toastmasters Club General Meetings can be attended either in person, or online through a Teams Meeting Link.

• NOTE: Although this event listing shows only as "online" it is in fact hybrid, allowing both online and in-person attendance.

Our General Meetings consist of 3 parts - Prepared Speeches, given by members progressing through Toastmasters' Pathway development program; Table Topics, which are short, impromptu speeches given by members and guests who wish to participate; and Evaluations of the prepared speeches.

Each year, Toastmasters International host an International Prepared Speech Contest, as well as an additional regional contest that varies yearly - this year the regional contest is Tall Tales. Each Toastmasters Club is invited to have their own contest, with winning candidates moving on to area, district, regional, and finally to the worldwide International Contest. Our club will use this meeting to select and advance any contestants for each contest to the next level. We hope you can join us!

When we are fortunate enough to have a 5th Tuesday in the month, we often add something special to our meeting format for the day. Details for this meeting will be added here when they are finalized.
