Pétanque and picnic - Meetup Group fund raiser - £3

As many of you know Meetup charges a fee to run the groups, and I fund this Brighten Your Life group. This event is to raise some money to help support those fees and have some fun. I would ask all attendees to contribute £3 each. Please bring CASH - preferably in change!

The event is a for-fun Pétanque (Boules) competition. You will each get to play a minimum of 3 games. You will be partnered with someone else (of your choosing if you wish, or anyone else who is not partnered) and play as a team. If you don't know the rules they are simple and will be explained on the day.

We will play at the Bancroft Park Pétanque Piste which is located in the North Loughton Valley Park. Car parking is just nearby on Constantine Way.

What to bring:
- Folding chair
- Picnic and drinks as you wish
- Appropriate sun protection
Note if the weather looks rainy I will postpone the event.
