White Rock Ridge Track - Moderate (~ 6km)

Join us for a group hike up the scenic Ridge Track at the White Rock 🪨- Spring Mountain Conservation Estate, located about 35 minutes southwest of Brisbane.
This 6 km moderate loop takes around 2-3 hours, featuring fun rock scrambles, sweeping views of the distant Brisbane skyline, and a visit to the majestic sandstone White Rock.
📅 When: Sunday 30th August - 7:00 AM. Please be there at 6:50 AM for a 7:05 AM start.
📍Where to Meet: Paperbark Flats Picnic Area car park off School Road, Redbank Plains. Drive to the very end of the road.

🚻 Facilities: Toilets and picnic tables are available at the trailhead parking area, but there is no water on the track.
🎒 What to Bring & Wear:
🥤Water: At least 2 to 3 litres per person. The ridge is mostly exposed to the sun.
🥾 Footwear: Sturdy hiking shoes or boots with good grip for rock hopping and short scrambles.
🌞🧢 Sun protection: A wide-brim hat, sunscreen, and snacks for a break near the rock.
⚠️ Important Cultural Note: No climbing White Rock and the surrounding ridges are sacred cultural heritage sites for the Ugarapul and Jagera people. We will admire the formation from the marked base trails only.
