This year, Women in Agile Brisbane in collaboration with the Atlassian Community Meanjin (Brisbane) is hosting a practical, human conversation:How might we support each other better?

This International Women’s Day, we’re creating space for an honest discussion about how women can support women better, and how allies, partners, and communities can help make that support visible, normal, and sustained. What does real support actually look like?
Together, we’ll unpack:

what real support looks like day to day

what gets in the way (pressure, scarcity, culture, fear)

how we call in with care, rather than tear down

how we advocate for women in rooms they’re not in

one small action we can normalise immediately

We’re bringing together voices across leadership, community, business, and technology - women and allies who are willing to speak honestly about what’s working, what isn’t, and what we can do differently.

We are grateful to be joined by thoughtful voices including Sharon Robson, Anshu Sisodia, Morgan Nugent, and Mike Roddy, with others joining the conversation as invitations land.

This isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about creating the conditions where support becomes normal.

Come listen. Come share. Come as you are.

Irina Mosina, Atlassian Community Champion

Hi there, I'm a veteran Atlassian event attendee and host.

As Platinum Solution Partners, since 2009, we have helped our customers become community leaders and provided all the support required to run successful events in Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland.

I have built and led our Consultancy and Solutions practice and helped numerous organisations across many sectors and verticals to get the best out of their Atlassian stack.

I'm one of the first Authorised Training instructors awarded that badge in New Zealand, and we have consistently been selected as Training Partner for many years. I have trained hundreds of Atlassian users to become more confident, proficient and effective at their day jobs while using Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian tools.

I know that I have a massive amount of knowledge, experience and insights and I can't wait to share it with the wider Atlassian community and join forces with other Community Leaders out there!

Chrissy Clements, Atlassian Community Champion

Hi, I’m Chrissy!

I’ve spent over 20 years in IT, with the last 15 focused on service management. I’m an ITIL® Ambassador, Strategic Leader, Atlassian Champion, and someone who genuinely enjoys untangling complexity to help teams work smarter.

I’m all about making service delivery sustainable, practical, and actually useful, not just ticking boxes. Always happy to chat about JSM, product-led service thinking, or anything that helps people do their best work.

Also, a proud slave to my Samoyed, who keeps me humble and covered in fur.
